Teaching
Teaching Philosophy
My ultimate pedagogical aspiration is to teach my students to think critically about environmental problems, especially those that relate to water issues and disasters. As a result I hone into two main objectives to achieve that. To acquire theoretical and empirical knowledge about real world environmental problems to evaluate and tickle an environment ever changing. Additionally, my teaching philosophy applied environmental justice and intersectional feminist as a way to provide equitable and just solutions for the environment and our society. My experience mentoring other students such as : high schoolers, undergraduate, and graduate has given me the opportunity to give others practical tools and knowledge to face the environmental problems of the world and those in their communities. I believe that everyone has something to contribute and diverse types of knowledge, as such I am always eager to seek and form new collaborations.
